Reiki Healing

Reiki “universal life force energy” is the energy of unconditional love which promotes health and well-being of the mind, body and spirit.

As a Reiki practitioner, I serve as a channel for Reiki Energy, sending the energy to you from Source for your body to utilize most effectively for you, supporting your innate ability to heal.

Reiki dates back 3,000 years, however it was rediscovered in the 1800’s in Japan, and today is used as a holistic healing practice. Reiki cannot cause harm, is not a religion, does not require belief in anything for it to work and it is ok to be skeptical.

Energy is not bound to time and space, which makes Virtual (Distance) Reiki just as effective and as an in-person Reiki session. Distance Reiki has been a powerful holistic health practice for hundreds of years.

Setting Your Reiki Session Intention(s)

Reiki is a safe, gentle, non-invasive, yet powerful form of energy healing therapy that supports a balanced flow of vital life force energy in the body. All that is required for Reiki to work is a sincere desire from the client to receive the healing energy for their highest good.

It is empowering to open yourself to recieving healing, and it is most effective when you clarify and honor your intentions. The intention can be simple, especially if you are feeling overwhelm, I recommend choosing an intention of calming/clarity. Then you will be more open to clarity of deeper intentions. Here is a list to help you in identifying your intentions:

Reiki Session FAQs

  • It is normal for the body to process emotions, and when in a healing environment you may experience the surfacing of emotions. There may be saddness and crying, shaking from fear or anger, or even sweating. What is happening is that old feelings that are stored in the body re finally being released and you can allow the reiki energy to aid your body in healing. I will hold a safe and stable space for you and remind you to trust your body’s wisdom.

  • Overall, reiki is calming and peaceful, helping the body harmonize. You will feel my hands placed along your body. Most people feel very relaxed and peaceful during a treatment, you may even fall asleep. Some people notice physical sensations, such as tingling, lightness or heaviness.  You may have an emotional release as Reiki is helping to clear energy that may be blocked from stress or past trauma. Reiki helps to activate the psychic senses, so some may experience colors, visuals, messages, smells, etc.

  • Regular Reiki sessions is beneficial to long term wellbeing, however the interval timing can vary based on our current health conditions and your wellness goals. I recommend starting with at least 3 sessions in 1-2 months to get started unless you have a serious health condition or injury, then I recommend weekly sessions. Listen to your intuition, you know <3

  • It is requested that the 24hrs leading into your your session you remain sober, eat a wholesome diet and spend some time focused on your intentions for healing. Wear comfortable clothing and be sure your schedule is clear for time before, during and after your session to allow for spaciousness to integrate your experience. For virtual sessions- prepare a private space you can lie down in, ensure your device is charged. You can also prepare an altar or simply light a candle to invite your guides and spirit team into the space for your highest good and healing. OR you can simply just be present and open to receive :)
